COVID-19 Vaccine Online Resources

It could be your turn to get the COVID-19 vaccine! The first vaccine for the virus was administered back in mid December of 2020, and has since been carefully distributed to the public in a prioritizing manner. Similar to Washington States reopening phases, the vaccination is being administered in phases. With high-risk healthcare workers being some of the first given the vaccination, the phases have been progressing to the greater public. As of now, Washington is in Phase 1B Tier 1. This tier of phase one includes all people 65 years or older, all people 50 years or older in multigenerational households (home where individuals from 2 or more generations reside such as an elder and a grandchild), educators and staff for pre-K through 12th grade, and child care providers. If you do not fall into one of these categories, please refer to Washington's Covid-19 Vaccine Phases chart to find which phase you fall under. If you currently qualify, there are a multitude of institutions that are providing the vaccine, even your local grocery store!

Thanks to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), it has been made convenient for you to receive the vaccine by helping you find a vaccination station in your area. To find a vaccine location near you, simply go to the Washington State Department of Health website to add your location information to find your local vaccinator. Before scheduling your appointment for vaccination, you’ll want to understand and find out which vaccine is best for you. As of now there are three vaccines being administered in Washington, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson Janssen. For more information on vaccines, visit credited sources like CDC’s or Washington State Department of Health’s websites to get more information about helping get you safe.
